Vice President of JIU Visits JXAU

Mr. Masasado Kurabayashi, Vice President of Josai International University (JIU), with his colleague, Deputy Director of International Education Center, visited the university on September 4th. Vice President Liu Muhua received the guests and held a symposium attended by the heads of the Academic Affairs Office, the School of Foreign Languages, the Office of International Exchange, and other departments as well as the relevant teachers.

On behalf of the university, Liu Muhua firstly expressed a warm welcome to Kurabayashi and his delegation, and introduced the development of the School of Foreign Languages, its faculty and Japanese language programs. Mr. Kurabayashi introduced JIU in detail about international students, the proportion of foreign teachers and the basic situation of international cooperation programs. The two sides discussed the “3+1” program of joint cultivation between the two universities and the “2+2” program to be carried out, as well as a plan to send some Japanese majors of the 20th grade to JIU for further study in this September. Both sides expressed that they would increasingly promote the program and deepen the exchange and cooperation.

Professor Kurabayashi met with the teachers and students of the School of Foreign Languages and conducted a briefing session on studying in JIU, introducing JIU and the cooperation programs that have been carried out. He also expressed his welcome to our teachers and students to study in JIU.
