A delegation led by Oh Ei Sun, President of Sabah Malaysia-China Friendship Association, visited the university on the afternoon of April 2 and they were received by Vice President Zeng Zhijiang. 

President Zeng, on behalf of the university, expressed his warm welcome to the visiting guests, and introduced the university in terms of its history, development, discipline construction and professional characteristics.

As for the coming 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia and the Year of Sino-Malaysian Friendship, JXAU will join hands with University Malaysia Sabah to celebrate the event and will sign an agreement on educational cooperation with the Kota Kinabalu Secondary School, said Zeng.

Mr. Oh Ei Sun said that Sabah is an important city along the Maritime Silk Road, and hoped that long-term cooperation can be formed in the future for mutual benefit and win-win situation. After the meeting, the delegation visited the History Museum of JXAU and watched the rehearsal of 50th Anniversary of China-Malaysia Diplomatic Relations in the university auditorium.

 In the near future, a delegation of JXAU will pay a return visit to University Malaysia Sabah and Kota Kinabalu Secondary School.
