At the invitation of the Foreign Affairs Office of Nanchang Municipal People's Government and the Bureau of Science and Technology of Nanchang City, about 200 international students and foreign experts got together at Sheraton Hotel in Nanchang City on January 9 to celebrate the coming Chinese lunar new year.

When in China, do as the Chinese do. They learned paper-cutting, practiced calligraphy, tasted traditional foods and tried on traditional Chinese consumes. Moreover, a party was brought by international students and foreign teachers from various universities. TAHIR ABBAS KHAN and ABBAS ALI from Jiangxi Agricultural University performed Pakistani folk instruments together.

The international students of our university reflected that this activity is very interesting and meaningful, a valuable chance for them to learn about Chinese and Jiangxi culture.
