Gu Ping, Associate Professor, received her bachelor's degree from the Department of Economics at Nanchang University, her master's degree in Ethics from the School of Political Science and Law at Jiangxi Normal University, and her doctor's degree in Marxist Theory from Southeast University,where she earned Ph.D. in Law.She is currently a Master Supervisor in the field of Marxist Theory and Public Administration. Her academic disciplines include the Basic Principles of Marxism and Public Administration, with research directions focusing on public ethics and the Sinicization of Marxism.
She has published a monograph titled“Research on Cultivating Socialist Core Values with Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture”which won the Third Prize of the 15th Outstanding Social Science Achievements Award of Jiangxi Province in 2023.
In recent years, she has presided over seven provincial and departmental-level projects, participated in the completion of two National Social Science Fund projects,and six provincial and ministerial-level projects. She has published five related academic papers in CSSCI (including expanded edition) and national core journals,demonstrating independent research, academic inquiry, and innovative capabilities. Focusing on problem-oriented research, she concentrates on theoretical themes such as Chinese ecological ethical culture and the study of the Chinese path to modernization, establishing a relatively stable research direction.
