Ai Huashui, Ph.D., is a researcher and doctoral supervisor specializing in animal population genetics and adaptive evolution. He has been a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley. He is also atraining scientist in theYoungScientists’ TrainingProgram in Jiangxi Province and a candidate for the Jiangxi Province New Century BaiQianWan Talent Project. Since 1998, He has been engaged in research related to animal genetics, breeding, and reproduction. His main research interests focus on two fields: 1) applying bioinformatics technologies to study the utilization and protection of animal genetic resources; and 2) using systems biology techniques to analyze the genetic mechanisms underlying complex traits in livestock, such as adaptability and disease resistance.
