Brief introduction:

Prof. Chen is a tutor of doctoral degree candidates and "Chief Professor" at Jiangxi Agricultural University. He has been selected for the National High-level Talent Support Program (the "Ten Thousand Talents Program") for Science and Technology Innovation Leaders. His main research subjects have focused on the effect of the interaction between pig gut microbiomes and host genetics on pig health and economic important traits. He has supervised more than 10 national scientific research projects, and as an academic backbone, he has also participated in the researches of more than ten national scientific research projects, including a major project of the National Natural Science Foundation. He has published more than 60 academic papers, including over 40 papers published in peer-reviewed top journals, such as Nature, Nature Communications, Microbiome, and Gut Microbes. As an important participant, I have won the National Science and Technology Progress Award, second prize (in 2005, ranked 7th), the National Teaching Achievement Award, second prize (in 2018, ranked 12th), the Jiangxi Science and Technology Progress Award, first prize (in 2022, ranked 5th), and the second prize (in 2004, ranked 7th).
