Chenghong Xing(2/1991 - ), male, Han ethnicity, from Gao'an, Jiangxi, is a Ph.D. candidate, a university experimentalist, and a national certified veterinary practitioner. He currently serves as a director of the Pet Diagnosis and Treatment Branch of the China Veterinary Association, a member of the Veterinary Surgery Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, a director of the Jiangxi Province Trace Element and Health Research Association, a director of the Jiangxi Province Pet Diagnosis and Treatment Association, an expert in the prevention and control of wildlife diseases in Jiangxi Province, a member of the expert group for GMP acceptance of veterinary drug enterprises in Jiangxi Province, a key member of the disease prevention and control position in the cattle and sheep system of the modern agricultural industry technology system in Jiangxi Province, and a guidance expert for the Shangli Rabbit Industry Science and Technology Courtyard in Jiangxi Province. He is engaged in experimental teaching and scientific research related to clinical veterinary courses, with a main focus on animal disease diagnosis, monitoring, and prevention and control, as well as nutrition metabolism and poisoning diseases in livestock (poultry), and has strong practical veterinary clinical skills. He has presided over a scientific and technological project of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education, three horizontal projects, a teaching reform project of Jiangxi Province, and a teaching reform project of Jiangxi Agricultural University. He has participated in two key research and development projects of the "13th Five-Year Plan" of the state, three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and provincial and ministerial-level funds, and four other horizontal projects. He has won one second prize of Jiangxi Province Teaching Achievement Award and one first prize of Jiangxi Agricultural University Teaching Achievement Award. He has published more than 30 academic papers, including more than 10 indexed by SCI. He has applied for four national patents, with one granted. He has obtained two software copyrights and assisted in the 2023 and 2024 projects for the active monitoring and early warning of wildlife diseases, and compiled the "Jiangxi Wild Bird Rescue Technology Manual".
