Xiaoqian Guo, born in June 1976, is a male of Han nationality from Nanchang, Jiangxi. He holds a doctorate and is currently a second-level professor and doctoral supervisor. He serves as the dean of the College of Animal Science and Technology and is also a member of the college’s Party committee. Additionally, he has been a visiting scholar at KU Leuven in Belgium. He has been selected as the candidate for the Jiangxi Provincial Hundred and Thousands Project for the New Century, the fostered young scientist of Jiangxi Province, the peer review expert of the National Natural Science Foundation, the vice director of the Poultry Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Sub-committee of the Group Standards Technical Committee of the Chinese Association of Veterinary Medicine, the vice secretary general of the Animal Toxicology Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, the vice president of the Internal Medicine and Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, the executive director of the Veterinary Imaging Technology Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, the executive director of the Jiangxi Association of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, the editorial board of the "Chinese Journal of Veterinary Medicine", and several draft review experts of domestic and foreign professional journals. He was honored as "Advanced Worker", "Excellent Class Teacher", "Excellent Trade Union Activist" and "Excellent Teacher" by Jiangxi Agricultural University for many times; he was awarded the third prize of the 12th Huo Yingdong Education Foundation Young Teacher Award in 2010; he was awarded the title of "Excellent Communist Party Member" by Jiangxi University in 2011, the nomination award of "May 4th Youth Medal in Jiangxi Province" in 2014, the title of "Pioneer of Jiangxi Province in the New Era" in 2019 and the title of "Excellent Party Worker" in Jiangxi Province in 2021. He has undertaken the tasks of classroom teaching and practical teaching of Veterinary Clinical Diagnostics, Veterinary Internal Medicine and Introduction to Veterinary Medicine for undergraduates majoring in animal medicine; and classroom teaching of Clinical Veterinary Monograph, Animal Nutritional Metabolic Diseases and Clinical Veterinary Pathology for postgraduates. It is presiding over or presiding over the completion of six National Natural Science Funds, one national key research and development plan of the 14th Five-Year Plan, one quality safety and environmental control post of the poultry industry technical system of Jiangxi Province, one project of the Ministry of Agriculture, one key project of the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Funds, two projects of the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Funds, one project of the Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Support Program, two projects of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education, one project of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Agriculture on agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery scientific research program, one project of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Higher Education on teaching research at the provincial level, one project of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Higher Education on teaching research at the provincial level, and two school-level projects of Jiangxi Agricultural University. Participate in the completion of 4 national projects and 5 provincial projects. The achievements of the project won 1 third prize of Jiangxi Natural Science Award and 3 third prize of Jiangxi University Science and Technology Achievement Award. Published more than 70 papers, SCI collected more than 30 articles, more than 10 A-type journals, was rated as excellent papers 5 papers, editor of 5 works.
