
Huang Jianzhen, a native of XinGan County, Jiangxi Province, is a doctor, professor, and doctoral supervisor.She is the leader of the Basic Veterinary Medicine discipline, the director of the Nanchang City Animal Physiology and Biochemistry Key Laboratory, and the leader of the “Animal Physiology, Biochemistry, and Metabolic Integration Biology” Youth Innovation Team at Jiangxi Agricultural University.She has been a visiting scholar at Iowa State University, USA, and Tsinghua University.She is also a standing member/deputy secretary general of the Animal Physiology and Biochemistry Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, vice chairman of the Jiangxi Provincial Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and a senior member of the Chinese Society of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine.
Her main teaching areas include “Animal Biochemistry,” “Modern Animal Biochemistry,” “Molecular Biology,” and “Frontier of Epigenetics,” with an “Excellent Level 1” teaching quality.Hermain research direction focuses on animal lipid metabolic disorders, animal energy metabolism, and epigenetic regulation mechanisms of reproductive development.She has led three National Natural Science Foundation projects, one sub-project of a national key research and development project, and numerous provincial and ministerial projects.She has also been a core member of several national key research and development projects and other national natural science foundation projects.
She has published over 20 SCI papers in journals such as JASB, Poultry Science, Animal Nutrition, BMC genomics, EJCB, Steroids, and Lipids.She has also published over 40 papers in CSCD Chinese core journals such as Acta Veterinaria et Zootechnica Sinica, Chinese Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Acta Nutrimenta Animal, Journal of Biological Engineering, and Journal of Jiangxi Agricultural University.She has also obtained three national utility model patents.
