1. Introduction

Xie Shuang (born October 1994), female, Han ethnicity, from Xinyang, Henan, holds a Ph.D., is a lecturer, and is a specially appointed professor. She graduated in 2024 from Nanjing Agricultural University with a Doctor of Agriculture in Basic Veterinary Medicine. In July 2024, she joined Jiangxi Agricultural University and is currently a member of the Preventive Veterinary Medicine Teaching and Research Section at the College of Animal Science and Technology. Her main focus is on teaching and scientific research in preventive veterinary medicine, with a primary research direction on the interaction between intestinal microorganisms and the mucosal epithelium of livestock and poultry, as well as research related to intestinal mucosal immunity. She has published more than 10 representative papers in top journals such as "Journal of Hazardous Materials," "Free Radical Biology and Medicine," and "Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry." As a key contributor, she has been granted three national invention patents and has led and completed one Jiangsu Province Graduate Research Practice Innovation Project. She has also participated in one National Key R&D Program project, two National Natural Science Foundation projects, and one provincial project.
