Currently, he is the dean of Jiangxi Agricultural Product Processing and Safety Control Engineering Laboratory, and serves as the director of Nanchang Egg Safety Production and Processing Engineering Key Laboratory. He has long been engaged in teaching and research in the field of livestock products science and technology. He has successively presided 6 National Natural Science Foundation projects, as well as more than 10 provincial and ministerial-level projects such as Jiangxi Province Outstanding Youth Fund project, the key project of the Jiangxi Province Natural Science Foundation, and the key project of the Jiangxi Province Key R & D Plan. As the first author or the corresponding author, he has published more than 90 SCI/EI papers in the domestic and international journals of food science such as Trends in Food Science & Technology, Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition, Food Hydrocolloids, Food Chemistry, Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, of which more than 60 TOP papers in the first district. He has written 1 monograph in Chinese, and has been authorized 1 international patent and 12 national invention patents, and won a 2nd Prize of Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and a 3rd prize of Jiangxi Natural Science Award as the first completion person. He mainly teaches courses of "Livestock Products Processing" and "Food Factory Design and Environmental Protection". He is the head of the provincial and national "Online and Offline Hybrid First-class Courses for Livestock Products Processing", and the person in charge of the “Provincial High-level Teaching Team of Agricultural Product Processing and Preservative Engineering”.
