Hong Deng, an associate professor, has served as a master's supervisor at the Software College of Jiangxi Agricultural University since 2016. He teaches graduate courses in Software Development Technology and Applications and Algorithm Design and Analysis. For undergraduate students, he instructs a variety of courses, including JAVA Programming, C Programming, C++ Programming, Data Structures, Operating Systems, and Design Patterns.

He has led nine projects at the provincial and ministerial levels or above and has participated in two National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects. He holds 11 software copyrights. Under his guidance, students have secured two national-level college student innovation and entrepreneurship training program projects. Additionally, he has contributed to the writing of two textbooks and has published over thirty academic papers, with five indexed in SCI and four in EI.
