Wenlong Yi, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Master's supervisor, serving as the Deputy dean of the School of Software at Jiangxi Agricultural University. He concurrently holds positions as a member of the Intelligent Agriculture Special Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, a Distinguished Member of the China Computer Federation (CCF), a communication review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a review expert for the China Scholarship Council, a review expert for the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and an expert on the acceptance committee for digital agriculture platform construction in several cities in Jiangxi Province.

His main research areas include agricultural big data and computer vision, agricultural Internet of Things, and blockchain technology, as well as 3D dynamic visualization modeling of crops. He has led over ten projects, including sub-topics of the National Key R&D Program, National Natural Science Foundation projects, and Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects.

Dr. Yi has published over 70 papers as the first or corresponding author in academic journals such as Expert Systems with Applications, Computers, and Electronics in Agriculture, Information Sciences, and international academic conferences. He has authored two academic monographs and chief-edited one textbook. As the first inventor, he has been granted 20 national invention patents and over 30 software copyrights.

He was awarded a full scholarship for the National Construction of High-level University Sponsored Doctoral Program. Dr. Yi maintains close academic ties with renowned universities and research institutions domestically and internationally. He has organized two international academic seminars and has been invited to give more than ten academic presentations.

Under his guidance, students have won silver and bronze awards in the 9th and 8th Jiangxi Province "Internet+" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competitions, respectively. He has supervised three national and provincial-level college student innovation and entrepreneurship training programs and two Jiangxi Provincial Graduate Innovation Special Projects.

Dr. Yi has supported multiple agricultural production enterprises, conducting "Smart Agriculture" technology social service training for over 500 participants.
