Jiangxi Rural Revitalization Strategy Research Institute, founded in January 2018，is a substantive research institution jointly established by Jiangxi Agricultural University, Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Jiangxi Province,China Center for Agricultural Policy of Peking University and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Jiangxi Branch. It has evolved into a pivotal high-end think tank within Jiangxi Province.Thisresearchinstitute is dedicated to promoting comprehensive rural revitalization and expediting the modernization of agriculture and rural areas in Jiangxi Province. Aligned with the strategic needs of the nation and Jiangxi Province, it conducts forward-looking and strategic research advisory services.Its primary tasks include exploring effective pathways and policy frameworks for the organic integration of poverty alleviation with rural revitalization, and for small scale farmers with modern agriculture. It also aims to establish a significant platform for research on rural talent cultivation, rural construction initiatives, and the development of rural revitalization demonstration sites. Additionally, it seeks to optimize the systems and mechanisms for the integration of rural industries and urban-rural development, providing decision-making support for a distinctive path to rural revitalization in Jiangxi. Its goal is to become a high-end Think Tank for agricultural and rural development in Jiangxi with significant national influence.It operates three research platforms: “Agriculture and Rural Modernization Development”, “Industrial Prosperity and Food Security” , and “Ecological Habitability and Rural Governance.” The director of this institute is Professor Huang Jikun who is a member of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and a professor of Peking University, and he invited influential experts in the fields of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers in China to form an academic committee. Professor Huang Lusheng who is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Party Secretary of Jiangxi Agricultural University, is serving as the committee's chair. The institute currently has 12 full-time researchers and over 60 part-time researchers.
