Jiangxi Key Laboratory of Modern Agricultural Equipment was approved for establishment byJiangxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology in December 2014. In the past five years, the laboratory has undertaken a total of 75 vertical scientific research projects at all levels, with a total budget of 86.3095 million yuan, including 1 national key research and development plan project, 5 national key research and development plan sub projects, 19 national natural science foundation projects, 1 central government forestry science and technology promotion demonstration project, and 31 provincial and ministerial level projects.Ithas authorized 177 authorized patents, including 42 invention patents, published over 130 papers, including 73 SCI/EI indexed papers and 65 papers in Chinese core journals, developed 4 local standards and 26 enterprise standards, and received 5 provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological awards.
After the optimization and reorganization in 2024, thelaboratory aims to build a first-class and advanced scientific research and innovation platform and talent gathering platform in the province and domestically.Thelaboratoryorganizes the high-level basic research and key technology research around major scientific and technological issues in the field of southern agricultural machinery. It focuses on Jiangxi major crops such as rice, rapeseed, fruits, vegetables, tea, Chinese medicinal materials, and oil tea tosolve the key technology research and development and complete machine system development of lightweight, intelligent, and precise operation technology equipment for crop production, as well as intelligent autonomous navigation systems for crop production, smart management technology equipment for crop production, and post-harvest processing technology equipment. Meanwhile, it will form a group of light, simplified, intelligent, and green agricultural machinery products and equipment with regional characteristics and obvious advantages.Throughthekey laboratory platforms, it attracts, gathers, and cultivates a group of outstanding young scientific and technological talents, and become a high-level talent training base for modern agricultural equipment with sustainable innovation capabilities.
