Jiangxi Engineering Research Center of Animal Husbandry Facility Technology Exploitation was approved for establishment by the Jiangxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission in February 2019. Relying on the academic and talent advantages of Jiangxi Agricultural University and closely integrating with the enterprise strengths of the animal husbandry industry in Jiangxi Province, this center highlights the characteristics of agricultural engineering and focuses on key technologies and demands related to animal husbandry facilities and environmental control. Its objectives are to enhance industrial innovation capabilities, promote the sustainable and healthy development of the industrial economy, and carry out tasks such as talent cultivation, scientific research, and social services. In recent years, the center has undertaken 3 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 8 provincial and ministerial-level research projects, published over 30 academic papers, and obtained over 20 authorized invention patents. It has also won one second prize for Technical Improvement in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries in Jiangxi Province, and two second prizes for Teaching Achievements at Jiangxi Agricultural University.

The research areas of theCenter include technology research and application in animal husbandry facility design, environmental control, modern breeding equipment, and resource utilization of livestock and poultry waste.
