The College currently offers two undergraduate programs of applied chemistry and materials chemistry, with more than 800 undergraduates enrolled. The College also offers the second-level discipline doctoral program of agricultural bio-environment and energy engineering, the first-level discipline master’s program of chemistry, and the professional master’s program of materials and chemical engineering. The discipline of chemistry is a key discipline of Jiangxi Agricultural University during the period of the “14th Five-Year Plan”, and it is the University’s fourth discipline entering Top 1% of ESI.
The College has the Nanchang Municipal Key Laboratory of Chemical Utilization of Plant Resources, Nanchang Municipal Knowledge Innovation Team of Organic Functional Materials and Agricultural Applications, Engineering Research Center (in cooperation with the National Forestry and Grassland Administration), Jiangxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Improved Variety Breeding and Efficient Utilization of Native Tree Species and Jiangxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Modern Agricultural Equipment.
