Wang Yanyan, a female born in January 1988, is of Han nationality and a member of the Communist Party of China. She hails from Yichang, Hubei Province. Holding a Doctorate in Agronomy, she currently serves as the deputy director of the Teaching and Research Department of Hydraulic Engineering at Jiangxi Agricultural University's College of Engineering. Additionally, she is a member of the propaganda committee for the second Party Branch within the faculty of Engineering College. Her primary research interests lie in hydrology, agrometeorology, and soil and water conservation. She has successfully led several projects including one funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangxi Province, another supported by the Education Department of Jiangxi Province, an education reform project at Jiangxi Agricultural University, four education and teaching projects, as well as two projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation. Furthermore,she has published 17 papers which include seven in SCI journals and holds four invention patents as first inventor. Wang Yanyan has been honored with three teaching achievement awards from Jiangxi Agricultural University along with seven teaching awards from both Jiangxi Agricultural University and College of Land Resources and Environment. Moreover,she has guided students to win three national and provincial college student innovative design competitions in agricultural Water conservancy engineering-related majors,and also guided students to win two excellent undergraduate graduation papers.
