He Xiaowu, a male individual of Han nationality, was born in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province in July 1970. He holds a Doctor of Science degree and currently serves as an associate professor.He currently serves as a member of the Agricultural Soil and Water Engineering Committee within the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering. Additionally, he is affiliated with the Jiangxi Provincial Society of Soil and Water Conservation. As part of his academic pursuits, he has been recognized as a visiting scholar under the esteemed "Light of the West" talent training program and has conducted scientific research visits in the United States. His primary focus lies in researching and teaching soil erosion mechanisms, soil and water conservation practices, as well as environmental ecological processes and regulations. Over his career span, he has successfully led or participated in more than 10 projects funded by prestigious institutions such as the National Natural Science Foundation, Jiangxi Provincial Education Department Fund, and Jiangxi Agricultural University Young Teachers Fund. Furthermore, he boasts an impressive publication record with over 40 papers to his name along with authorizations for four patents encompassing both invention and utility models. Notably accomplished in academia too; having received three teaching achievement awards from Jiangxi Agricultural University while guiding students to victory in three national/provincial college student agricultural water conservancy engineering competitions alongside related professional innovation design contests.
