Qiu Linyan is primarily engaged in comparative research between Chinese and Japanese languages as well as in Japanese language education studies. She has presented papers more than ten times at conferences such as the World Congress of Linguists, the International Society for Chinese Language Studies, and the Japan Linguistics Association. She has published more than ten research papers in domestic and international linguistic academic journals.DoctorQiu has led and completed four provincial-level scientific research projects.She has received one first-place prize, one second-place prize, and one third-place prize in the National University Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition Micro-lecture Contest; guided students to win one special prize, one first-place prize, and one second-place prize in Japanese speech contests at the provincial level or above; and two first-place prizes and one third-place prize in the "People's China Cup" interpretation, translation, and vocabulary contests. She has also participated in the development of one provincial-level quality online course.
