Wu Weiping is a professor and a master's supervisor, currently serving as the Director of the International Exchange Office of the university. She primarily teaches courses such as "English Listening", "English-Chinese Translation", and "Interpretation". Her main research direction is English language education. She has won the First Prize and Second Prize of Excellent Textbooks in Jiangxi Province once each; she has also received the First Prize and Second Prize of Teaching Achievements in Jiangxi Province once each. As a core member, she participated in the construction of two provincial-level online quality courses, “An Insight into Chinese Agricultural History" and ""An Insight into Chinese Agricultural History - Chinese Idioms", both of which have been named as national first-class "online" undergraduate courses and "Ideological and Political Education" demonstration courses by the Ministry of Education. Over the years, she has published multiple papers in CSSCI and other reputable journals. She has completed four provincial-level social science planning or educational reform projects. As an editor-in-chief or general editor, she has compiled and published five sets of college English or postgraduate English textbooks. She has independently completed five translations (including three electronic versions) and co-authored one translation. In terms of teaching, she has been awarded honorary titles such as "Excellent Teacher of the University", "Good Teacher in the Hearts of Students", and "Excellent Paper Advisor at the University Level" multiple times.
