You Hongnan, is an Associate Professor and master's supervisor, as well as the director of the university-level research platform "Institute of Foreign Literature Studies". She graduated from Southwest Jiaotong University in 2008 with a master's degree in Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at SEGi University in Malaysia.
From January 2014 to January 2015, sponsored by the "Young Backbone Teachers" program of the China Scholarship Council, she spent a year at the University of Idaho, USA, where she began her research in eco-literature and eco-criticism. In late 2014, she became a member of the Association for the Study of Literature and Environment (ASLE), the largest and most influential academic organization in the field of ecocriticism in the United States.
Over the years, You Hongnan has been engaged in English teaching and research, with courses including undergraduate specialty courses, college English courses, and various other programs. She was recognized as an Outstanding Teacher for class-teacher work at Jiangxi Agricultural University in 2018 and 2020, and was honored as an Outstanding Teacher in teaching in 2011, 2012, and 2019. In 2020, she was awarded the "Dabeinong Teaching Model" and "Dabeinong Teaching Elite" at Jiangxi Agricultural Universitym at the same time.
Professor You has led over ten provincial-level research projects, published one monograph and nearly 30 academic papers. Recently, she published an academic paper inEducation and Information Technologies, a JCR Q1 and SSCI top-tier journal.
