Personal Profile

Wang Liguo: Male, PhD, professor, doctoral supervisor . He is one of the first batch of young tourism experts trained by the National Tourism Administration, director of the Rural Tourism Development Research Center of Nanchang City, director of the Rural Tourism Development Research Center of Jiangxi Agricultural University, head of the Tourism Management Master's Program and discipline of the Land College, member of the Tourism Ecology Committee of the Chinese Ecological Society, vice president of the Education Branch of the Jiangxi Tourism Society, and executive director of the Jiangxi Tourism Culture Research Association. In 2010, he was sponsored by the China Scholarship Council to study abroad for one year as a joint doctoral student at the University of British Columbia ( UBC ) in Canada. In 2015, he was sponsored by the Jiangxi Province "Voyage Project" and the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education Young Backbone Teachers to visit Canada for one year. His research expertise is leisure agriculture and rural tourism, tourism planning and planning, tourism ecological management, rural revitalization, etc. He has presided over or completed one National Social Science Fund, two National Natural Science Funds, one humanities and social science planning project of the Ministry of Education, more than 10 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects such as the former National Tourism Administration and Jiangxi Provincial Social Science Planning Project, and more than 10 horizontal planning projects. He has published more than 60 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals such as Economic Geography, Acta Ecologica Sinica, Journal of Cleaner Production , and Forests (including more than 20 papers indexed by SCI, SSCI, CSSCI, CSCD, etc.), and published 4 monographs and edited books. He has won the title of "Outstanding Teacher" of Tourism Education in Jiangxi Province, the Dong Naijun Forestry Award, and the honorary titles of "Advanced Worker", "Advanced Individual in Three Educations", and "Excellent Class Teacher" of Jiangxi Agricultural University.
