Personal Profile

Guo Xi, professor, postdoctoral fellow, doctoral supervisor, engaged in land resource management and 3S technology, agricultural resources and environment research. He is the executive director of the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Resources and Ecology in Poyang Lake Basin, Jiangxi Province, a director of the Chinese Society of Soil Science, and an expert in the field group and platform group of the third national soil survey. He is the leader of the field technical guidance group of the third soil survey in Jiangxi Province. He is a member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Jiusan Society and the chairman of the Jiangxi Agricultural Grassroots Committee of the Jiusan Society. He is the executive director and deputy secretary-general of the Jiangxi Land Society and a member of the Land Use Engineering Branch of the Agricultural Engineering Society. He has presided over three national science and technology research sub-projects, published more than 20 SCI papers, more than 100 papers in domestic core journals, authorized 4 national invention patents, and participated in 4 local standards. He won one first prize and two second prizes in the Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, two second prizes and one third prize in the Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, one second prize in the former Ministry of Land and Resources Science and Technology Award, and one second prize in the Ministry of Agriculture Agricultural Animal Husbandry and Fishery Harvest Award. He guided students to participate in the Internet + Double Innovation Competition and won two national bronze medals.

June 1997, he graduated from Heilongjiang University of Commerce with a bachelor's degree in real estate management.

From December 2012 to January 2015 , he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the joint program of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Jiangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
