JXAU has been actively promoting academic exchanges and cooperation to expand the international vision of both the teachers and students. We have established friendly cooperative relations with dozens of foreign universities and research institutes including Macquarie University in Australia, University of Essex in the UK, Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, Griffith University in Australia, University of British Columbia in Canada, Universitas Brawijaya in Indonesia, Fachhochschule des Mittelstands in Germany, Perm State Agro-Technological University named after Academician D.N. Pryanishnikov in Russia, Josai International University in Japan, University Malaysia Sabah in Malaysia, National Institute of Infectious Diseases in Japan, etc. 

JXAU encourages and supports teachers to participate in international academic exchanges and co-operative researches. Most of the discipline leaders and backbone teachers represented by Academician Huang Lusheng and Wei Fuwen have overseas study or working experience, who have played a vital role in promoting the development of the disciplines. 

JXAU has provided multiple channels for students who wish to study abroad at national, provincial, university and faculty levels. We are in cooperative relations with foreign universities to carry out 2+2, 3+1, and 4+2 programs for students. We offer support for students in applying for undergraduate, postgraduate and joint doctoral programs, and various types of short-term practical internship programs abroad.

Meanwhile, JXAU have invited foreign experts and scholars to visit the university for exchanges, and have employed foreign academicians, professors and overseas young talents to teach and carry out research in the university through various high-level talent projects and channels. Among them, three foreign experts have won the Chinese Government Friendship Award, and four have won the Lushan Friendship Award of Jiangxi Province.

As one of the Chinese Government Scholarship education institutions, JXAU has developed programs for international students which have covered the three levels of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degrees. So far we have had international students from Pakistan, Tanzania, Egypt, Kenya, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi, Uganda, Republic of TÜRKİYE, Ghana, Grenada, etc.
